ADULTERATED MACAROONS CHARGE AGAINST BAKERS
H. R. Robbins, state board of health representative, yesterday swore to three complaints, charging three Sacramento bakery proprietors with selling adulterated macaroons. The men were arrested and allowed to go on bond. The bakeries accused are Sim Canman and D. F. Cruise of the Bon Ton bakery, charged with the sale of ‘‘cocoanut” macaroons, adulterated with cornstarch; and Brune Siefert, proprietor of a bakery at 515 Twelfth street, charged with selling macaroons adulterated with flour.
