Worlds of exile and illusion by Ursula K. Le Guin
From the publisher, ” The author’s first three novels–City of Illusions, Rocannon’s World, and Planet of Exile–are included in an omnibus edition, all set in the same universe as The Left Hand of Darkness, as her characters battle forces in society that seek to tear them apart.”
Three novels make up this book: Rocannon’s world — Planet of exile — City of illusions.
Rocannon’s World by Ursula K. Le Guin – what a great story. It is one of three in a compilation I randomly pulled at the library, I’m looking forward to the other two.
She paints worlds bound up in deep space travel and invents a plausible faster than light travel.
Planet of Exile – Ursula K. Le Guin – second of the three novellas in this book from the library. This is better than Rocannon’s World, which I liked very much. Planet of Exile has some twists that while reading the posts to the an article on T-Cell research, I wanted to post about one of her main plot lines in this story.
