In the 1990’s, we got to know this winery up county off Dry Creek. Bob Stemmler produced Bellissimo, a marvelous rich, red claret. The winery is gone, but the fond memories of sending a bottle back to the kitchen at Chez Panisse lives on. We’d buy it by the case, it was a “reasonably” priced wine and was spilled on the best carpets and table cloths.
That poster is beautiful! It’s nice to have that as a memento, even if the winery is no more.
