There was a very large and lethal quake in Nepal today, 7.8, many thousands lost their lives.
The pacific is resonating with many quakes around 5.0, so far I count 8. There are more than 20 in Nepal and China.
I’m paranoid and am waiting for something else to give due to this activity.
(Added a few weeks later) – Watching the world wide quakes on the USGS web site has calmed me down, I’m not as paranoid as I was after the Nepal quakes. (see http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/map/ and zoom to WORLD). The page shows 20 -> 35 quakes per day, many at 5.0, so the biggest ones, like the Nepal quake are very rare. However, one 5.0 could change your life.

There was a very large quake in New Zealand – 7.8 – 53km NNE of Amberley, New Zealand 2016-11-13 03:02:56 (UTC-08:00) 23 km
Thankfully, only two reported fatalities and no tsunami, property damage was moderate.
The world is shaking again, it is now many hours after the quake and the reports and pictures are making news worldwide. The USGS website shows 68 quakes 2.5+ in the world map. Seems like these big ones set the whole planet ringing like a bell.
